Fleming Potter Case Study

PROBLEM: How to easily turn a pile of printed material over to allow for printing on the opposite side?

SOLUTION: A Pile Turner from
Cherry's Industrial Equipment Corp.
of Bensenville, Illinois.

CASE STUDY:
In fact Fleming Potter of Peoria, Illinois found this to be the perfect solution to this age old printing problem. The Pile Turner loads at ground level thus allowing for easy access with a hand truck. Its compact design takes up a minimum of floor space and its ease of operation makes turning over a load of printed material as easy as "turning the page". The pile of material is placed in the machine and the operator pushes the button to initiate the process. The clamping plates rise and descend to secure the load. The machine tilts the load backward so that it is now resting on its side. At this point the operator pushes down a lever at the side of the machine and manually turns the table containing the load around 180 degrees. Once again a button is pushed and the Pile Turner descends to the floor level. The clamping plates release and the pile of paper is ready for removal. The pile is positioned for printing on the reverse side of the paper.
