R/R MK2 INVERTER MODEL

Free Standing
90° Power Recline
180° Manual Rotation
Dual Clamping Plates
Floor Level Loading
  • Light weight 180 degree inverter with twin clamping tables which open flush to the floor.
  • It clamps and reclines under hydraulic power and revolves easily by hand.
  • The R/R MK2 can be supplied with either hand lever controls or extended push buttons.
  • The machine is stable by design and can be relocated by fork lift, but would be secured to the floor during normal operation.
WHEN TO SPECIFY THE R/R MK2 INVERTER
The R/R MK2 is designed primarily for low volume applications where floor-level-loading is essential. Although able to handle almost all palletized goods, it would mostly be used to invert piles of printed paper or cardboard. The jaw opening ranges between 15" and 55" so it is ideal for short stacked loads and would not normally be rated over 2600lb Cap. The R/R MK2 has a secondary function for squaring loads. When fitted with a side wall it can be turned through 90 degrees and tilted into a 'V'.

THE R/R MK2 IN OPERATION

The R/R MK2 loads at ground level thus allowing for easy access with a hand truck. Its compact design takes up a minimum of floor space and its ease of operation makes turning over a load of printed material as easy as "turning the page". The clamping table opening ranges between 15" and 55"

Pile Turners provide the printing industry with the best and most efficient piece of equipment to do their particular job, always keeping in mind the need to solve problems of ergonomics and repetitive trauma in the printer's work place.

The clamping plates rise and descend to secure the load. The machine tilts the load backward so that it is now resting on its side. At this point the operator pushes down a lever at the side of the machine and manually turns the table containing the load around 180 degrees.

Once again a button is pushed and the Pile Turner descends to the floor level. The clamping plates release and the pile of paper is ready for removal. The pile is positioned for printing on the reverse side of the paper.
